- Where is your ground?
- Our ground, called the Butcher’s Ground, is on the south side of Ditcheat. The post code is BA4 6PL but the easiest way to find us is using What3Words (///cabbages.used.admiringly). The below image shows the entrance to the lane which leads to the ground.

- Do you play league cricket?
- No, we are a friendly side playing friendly fixtures. We typically enter a couple of competitive six-a-side tournaments each season.
- Do you train?
- We hold social net sessions throughout winter at the Millfield School Cricket Centre. From May to September we hold net sessions at The Butcher’s Ground on Thursday evenings from 6pm.
- Can women join the club?
- Absolutely! We’re an inclusive club playing social cricket. Women are welcome. That said we’re still developing our facilities and currently do not have a loo on site or a female changing room. We are raising money to improve this.
- Can kids join?
- Yes! Many players bring their kids along. There is no membership fee for U14s and many children play in our matches. We also run informal children/adult games at net sessions.
- I’ve never played cricket before. Does that matter?
- No it doesn’t matter. We have several beginners at the club as well as a club kit bag.
- Do you have any socials?
- Yes, we meet at the pub after each game and most net sessions. We also have a club dinner in winter.
- When are your matches and what format?
- We play a mix of T20 games on weeknights (Wednesday, Thursday or Friday) and longer form games (typically 35 overs) on Sundays.
